The Matchroom Boxing boss met Abdu Rozik at an event in Dubai, and the pair posed for photos as Rozik told Hearn to sign him for a fight
Eddie Hearn has said that he can “never rule out” promoting the fight between social media stars Hasbulla Magomedov and Abdu Rozik.
The Instagram sensations, who have amassed millions of followers after an outlandish ‘press conference’ have become iconic in the combat sports world, despite never having fought.
Magomedov has become close with former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, while Rozik has been spotted with top boxers such as Oleksandr Usyk and Terrence Crawford.
And Hearn met with Rozik at an event in Dubai recently, leading to speculation that he may enter into talks to stage the fight, which has also piqued the interest of UFC boss Dana White.
“I’d never really met him but he was a lovely young man,” Hearn said of his meeting with the social media star during an interview with iFL TV.
“I had a bit of a laugh with him in the Middle East this week and he seems to be creating a lot of headlines.
“So we’ll never rule it out.”
Rozik and Magomedov both suffer from dwarfism, and have become viral stars for their internet videos including the ‘press conference’, which was watched over 15million times.
They are both 18-years-old, but have child-like appearances and statures due to medical issues.
They got into an altercation at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi recently, squaring up before Magomedov threw a kick and the pair had to be separated by spectators.
Fans have been scrambling to see the pair fight, and Dana White has said that there is a “more than zero per cent” chance that Magomedov will fight in the UFC.
Hearn infamously has history putting on influencer boxing matches; he promoted KSI vs Logan Paul 2 and launched the professional career of Jake Paul.
But this fight, which would be much more controversial, seems unlikely, with Magomedov saying during a recent media scrum that the event is too expensive to put together.
“Yes some people want to organise it but they won’t be able to,” Hasbulla said during his first media scrum. “Because it is too expensive and not too many people will be able to pay for it.

“And I don’t want the fight at the moment, no we haven’t discussed it and Dana White didn’t discuss it. Abdu Rozik he is a bum and he is a singer. This fight doesn’t make sense.”
White says that the Russian’s father is very protective of his son, who suffers from dwarfism, and doesn’t want him to fight.
“I don’t know if he wants to get involved,” Dana White said during an appearance on Pardon My Take.
“From what I hear, his father is super protective of him. If that’s the case, you don’t want your kid fighting.
“They went at it that night at the fights – I haven’t seen enough, I saw him punch Minotauro Nogueira in the face.
“And he threw a kick at that other kid in the stomach, did you see that?”
