A sprawling estate in the Lake District is the latest prize on offer through the Omaze Million-Pound House Draw, and you only need to spend £10 to enter the online draw

The house is the grand prize in the seventh Omaze Million-Pound House Draw

We’d all like to have a little more luxury in our lives, but most of us just can’t afford the millions it costs to fully live the high life.

But thanks to an online prize draw, you could find yourself the new owner of a sprawling £3 million home in Cumbria’s Lake District – and all you have to spend is £10 to enter.

The grand prize is part of the seventh draw hosted by the Omaze Million-Pound House Draw, and will ensure one lucky winner has a year to remember in 2022.

With stunning views of Lake Windermere, the property comes fully furnished and boasts amenities including cosy log fires, a cinema room, sauna, steam room, state-of-the-art gym, staggered gardens, and a workshop.

The estate is also conveniently located just over a mile from Windermere station.

And what’s more, the winner won’t have to spend any money on fees for the property as all stamp duty and legal fees are covered – and you’ll even be given another £20,000 as a cash prize on top of the house.

If living the life of luxury in the Lake District isn’t your cup of tea, you could set yourself up for a comfortable future by using the property as a holiday or long-term let, with estate agents estimating that the average weekly rental income is between £6,000 and £8,000, rising to £12,000 during the high season.

Your entry will also help raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK, as Omaze has pledged to donate a minimum of £100,000, with a target raise of £500,000.

Online entries into the draw start from £10, which will see your name placed into the hat 15 times.

You can also pay £25 for 40 entries, £50 for 85, or £150 for 320 – and if online isn’t your thing, you can enter by post with no purchase necessary.

James Oakes SVP International at Omaze said: “We’re honoured to be helping Alzheimer’s Research UK raise money and awareness for its life-changing work.

“By offering an incredible prize like this picturesque property in the Lake District, we’re giving people the chance to win an amazing house, while also introducing charities to brand new audiences.

“We’re proud that our method of fundraising has already raised £3,250,000 for five charities since we launched in the UK last year.”

And the draw has the support of actor Stephen Tompkinson, who is pleased to see Omaze team up with Alzheimer’s Research UK after his own father suffered from the progressive neurologic disorder.

He said: “I first got involved with Alzheimer’s Research UK when my father got Alzheimer’s and eventually died from it.

“I reached out to the charity to see if there was anything I could do to help, so we can find a way to help stop this disease and eventually cure it completely.

“One in three people today will develop dementia in their lifetime. The work that Alzheimer’s Research UK does is incredible.

“By entering the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, people will be helping the charity continue its work towards eradicating this disease forever – and on top of that, someone is guaranteed to win this amazing new house!”

The lucky winner will join previous winners of the Omaze Million-Pound House Draw, including Ian Garrick – who won the first ever draw and bagged a £1 million home in Cheadle Hulme – Marilyn Pratt, who picked up a £3 million townhouse in Fulham, and Heekyoung Jin, who is now the proud owner of a multi-million-pound dream home in Wimbledon.

The seventh draw can be entered at until 27 March 2022 for online entries and 29 March 2022 for postal entries.
