Manhart’s project is based on the Tesla Model 3 Performance, which comes with 513 horsepower (382 kilowatts) and 471 pound-feet (639 Nm) from the factory. However, Manhart claims that its TM3 720 puts out 542 horsepower (404 kilowatts) 531 pound-feet (720 Nm).
As for the aesthetics, Manhart has given the Model 3 a new, more aggressive body kit. Of course, the main highlight is the big fake grille, which is actually painted onto the front of the car. Its sole function is to make the car look more interesting, but I’ll let you be the judge.
Other than that, the car has been finished in black (we don’t know if it’s the factory paint or not) and given the usual touches to make it look sportier. Black 21-inch “Barracuda” wheels, red exterior accents, a racing stripe, and a new front splitter, which combined with the “grille”, makes the TM3 720 look even meaner.
The people at Manhart have also added H&R lowering springs, to help the chassis cope with the extra power. Sadly, they haven’t touched the rear nor the interior of the Tesla Model 3. In case you are wondering, the price for all this is €74,900 ($88,255 at current exchange rates), car included of course. What’s your take on that grille?
