Kim Kardashian is ready to joke about…well, a lot of things.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashian star didn’t hold back during her Saturday Night Live debut on October 9, especially when it came to her opening monologue. Nobody was safe, including her sisters, Caitlyn Jenner, and especially her ex-husband, Kanye West.
“I’m excited to be here tonight to show you guys that I’m so much more than just a pretty face and good hair and great makeup and amazing boobs and a perfect butt,” Kardashian said at the top of the episode, per People. “Basically, I’m just so much more than that reference photo my sisters showed their plastic surgeons.”
She continued, “But the one thing I’m really proud of is that no one can ever call me a gold digger. Honestly, I’m not even sure how you become one. So I asked my mom’s boyfriend Corey.”
That’s when she switched gears to her most recent ex. Despite various reconciliation rumors, Kardashian took shots at his failed presidential run and overall “personality.”
“Now I know we’re divided as a country, but I’d love America to come together, which is why I’m here to announce that I’m running for,” Kardashian joked. “I’m just kidding, guys! I’m not running for president. We can’t have three failed politicians in one family.”
Kardashian and West called off their marriage of seven years back in February 2021. While the reality star opened up about her reasons for filing for divorce during the KUWTK finale, she widdled it down to one thing for Saturday Night Live.
“I’ve been very blessed in this life, and I’m grateful for everything, honestly, all the ups, all the downs,” Kardashian began. “I mean, I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America, a talented, legit genius, who gave me four incredible kids.”
She continued, “So when I divorced him, you have to know it came down to just one thing: his personality. I know it sounds mean, but people keep telling me that comedy comes from truth. And if there’s one thing that I always strive to be, it’s genuine.”
Kim Kardashian’s full episode of Saturday Night Live is available to watch now on Hulu.
