Ohio Man Arrested On Burglary Charges After Allegedly Paying Dancer With Counterfeit Money At Strip Club – The Shade Room

Whew, the audacity! An Ohio man is facing burglary charges for making it rain counterfeit bills in the strip club.

Police said Darryl Cowan Jr. ran away from a dancer after she maced him for giving her counterfeit money at That 1 Place Gentleman’s Club, according to WTRF.

The dancer told officers that Cowan Jr. gave her a counterfeit $100 bill and $50 bill. When sis got hip to the funny money, she told officers that she and another customer confronted Cowan Jr. and that he punched the other customer, according to the police report.

Then the dancer said she jumped on the man and maced him in the face, according to the report.

But wait, there’s more!

Cowan Jr. allegedly took off with the dancer’s car keys and ran into the back entrance of a nearby house, the report stated. Police later located him in that house.

Officers claimed Cowan Jr. was intoxicated and told them that the homeowner let him inside, but the woman who owns the home said she was alerted that someone ran into her house after people came running over yelling that someone was inside there.

A neighbor of hers searched inside and said he found Cowan Jr. in a room just chillin’, lying on a bed.

Police searched him and uncovered the key to the dancer’s car, the report stated. Cowan Jr. told officers he did not know where the key came from or who it belonged to.

Police also took note that both counterfeit bills had Chinese writing on them.

Cowan Jr. was later booked into the Trumbull County Jail on burglary charges in connection to the incident.

Police seized the counterfeit bills and a bag of marijuana from Cowan Jr. The items were logged into evidence.
