Fox Factory Clears Key Benchmark, Hitting 90-Plus RS Rating; Stock Rises Above Buy Point

Fox Factory (FOXF) rose past a buy point Wednesday, the same day its stock Relative Strength (RS) Rating climbed to 92, up from 89 the day before.

The 92 RS Rating puts Braselton, Ga.-based Fox Factory in the top 8% of all stocks in price performance over the past year. Market research reveals that the best stocks typically have an 80 or higher RS Rating in the early stages of their moves.

Other Fox Factory Ratings

Among other key ratings, Fox Factory sports an excellent 96 EPS Rating of a best-possible 99. Similarly, it carries a 97 Composite Rating. The rating contains a mix of five other IBD stock ratings. The best growth stocks have a Composite Rating of 90 or better.

The maker of high-performance suspension products for mountain bikes, as well as off-road and all-terrain vehicles, is at or near an all-time high, a bullish sign. Earnings in its most recent quarter rose 38%, to 90 cents per share. Sales growth was even stronger at 41%, to $262.4 million. Fox Factory is expected to release its next quarterly numbers on or around May 6.
