Amazon Prime Day 2021 is set to arrive on June 21 and 22, which means Prime Day deals are just around the corner. If you’re looking for a great new tablet to add to your home then Prime Day will be the event for you, as we’re expecting to see some amazing Prime Day iPad sales with sales on everything from the entry-level iPad, all the way up to the high-spec iPad Pro.
It’s now the direct run-up before Prime Day, and some deals have already begun to filter out from underneath the Great Amazon Wall, giving you the immediate chance to grab a deal. Read on as we look at what Prime Day iPad deals we expect to unfold, the ones already available, and whether you should buy a new iPad on Prime Day.
It’s highly likely that we’ll see pretty much all of the current iPad range on sale in some form as part of the Prime Day iPad sales. That means you’ll see discounts on the high-end Apple iPad Pro, along with the more modestly priced Apple iPad Air and Apple iPad Mini. With two forms of iPad Pro available — the 11-inch and the 12.9-inch varieties, it’s likely that both will be discounted to varying degrees.
Don’t forget the regular Apple iPad too. That’s likely to see a modest price cut or possibly even better.
Last year, we didn’t necessarily see any massive discounts on the Apple iPad range but the Prime Day iPad deals were still solidly dependable. That meant modest price cuts for the Apple iPad Mini, as well as the Apple iPad Air, and Apple iPad.
Where the Prime Day iPad sales looked a little stronger were with the Apple iPad Pro 11-inch and Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch models with bigger reductions. Obviously, the high-end options here meant you needed to pay more but the discounts were far more attractive if you wanted to invest in something that would last.
Do you need an iPad? Then you know what to do. However, if you’re simply tempted by a new tablet then the decision is a little trickier. They’re highly versatile items allowing you to be productive and entertained while on the move. Our guide to the best iPad will help you figure out the best one for you.
If you’re wondering if it’s worth waiting until Black Friday for a bigger discount, we’re not convinced. Sales were quite similar last year and we expect it to be the same in 2021. We always recommend knowing what your budget is before you dive into the Prime Day iPad sales, and you should stick to it. Don’t be lured into an offer you can’t really afford.
Also, check the discount involved. If it’s an incremental and modest price change, it’s probably only worth buying if you know you definitely want the item in question.
