Met Gala presenter Keke Palmer appeared to have no idea who Brooklyn Beckham was on the red carpet as she quizzed the British star on where he was from
The eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham, 22, looked dapper on the red carpet alongside his future-wife who dazzled in a sequin pink gown.
The lovebirds looked completely smitten as they stormed the red carpet and it wasn’t long before they were scooped up for a number of interviews.
One in particular left Met Gala viewers cringing as media personality Keke Palmer asked the couple a number of burning questions for Vogue Magazine.
While Keke was all about model and actress Nicola, she didn’t appear to engage all that much with Brooklyn.

It then soon came to light that the presenter had no idea who the British star was as she quizzed Brooklyn on where he was from.
After she quizzed the genetically-blessed pair on their ensembles for the ‘In America: A Lexicon of Fashion’ themed-night, things turned awkward quickly.
Brooklyn’s fiancee joked that she’s trying her best to make the star more American in a bid to keep him in LA where they both live.
Nicola insisted that she didn’t want Brooklyn to go back to the UK, leaving host Keke visibly perplexed.
“Well, I’m trying to make him an American right now, I don’t want him to go back,” the blonde beauty joked.
The response prompted Palmer to direct the microphone towards Beckham and ask: “Where are you from?”
With an awkward smile on his face, Brooklyn replied: “Oh, I’m from London.”
“Oh from London. So we just getting you for a little while, not for a long while,” the interviewer continued, with Brooklyn then explaining that he and Nicola ‘live in LA’.
The exchange left Vogue livestream viewers ‘mortified’.
They immediately flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts.
“Keke not having a damn clue who Brooklyn Beckham is has just ended me. I’ve never been more embarrassed for two people at once,” quipped one Met Gala fan.
“Oh no she didn’t! Keke, you’ll never live this down girl. I’m cringing so hard,” someone else echoed.
“Well that will take Brooklyn Beckham down a peg or two,” another cheeky viewer joked.
Meanwhile, a fourth fan shared: “Not Keke asking Brooklyn Beckham where he’s from. Oh my lord.”
Regardless of the awkward moment, Brooklyn and Nicola stormed the red carpet in style.
And they looked more loved-up than ever while doing so.
