Lady Gaga’s dog walker relives horror shooting that left him ‘bleeding out’

Pop star Lady Gaga’s former dog walker has revealed he feels “abandoned” after the near-fatal shooting which left him “bleeding out”

Lady Gaga’s dog walker speaks out from hospital bed on ‘close call’ with death

Lady Gaga’s dog walker Ryan Fischer nearly died after being shot while walking the popstar’s prized French bulldogs.

And the 40-year-old is still recovering from the near fateful night in which he admitted he was “bleeding out” while armed dognappers stole Gustav and Koji.

But since the scary incident Ryan has launched a $40,000 GoFundMe page stating that claims he was “abandoned” and “unsupported” following the shooting, despite praising Lady Gaga for her support.

Both Lady Gaga’s pooches were eventually returned unharmed and the 35-year-old star praised Ryan for being her “forever hero” and stressing that he had “risked [his] life to fight for our family.”

“Everyone thought that I was setting a blame on someone, when it was all love,” stressed Ryan in an interview in Rolling Stone. “It’s what happens in trauma — all your loved ones, all your family, everyone: you feel alone.”

The LA-based dog-walker had to undergo emergency surgery after being shot in the chest, but thankfully survived the brutal attack and continues to recover from his wounds and the trauma of the incident.

Recalling the night he was shot – and how he escaped into a bush with Lady Gaga’s other dog Miss Asia – Ryan revealed: “I was bleeding out and that was the thought that was going through my head. What’s the best way to do this so the dogs can be found?’

“My mind started working really quickly. I really had to weigh my options – do I say who the dogs belong to? Because if I do, it adds more media attention.

“I was totally aware and totally cracking jokes, like, ‘That sounds bad. When I’m in an absurd situation, I do better finding humour in it. And this has got to be the most absurd situation.”

On his GoFundMe page, Ryan admitted that he had “long bouts of depression and doubt and self-pity” in a plea for cash.

And though many fans have questioned his decision to crowdfund money, Ryan is happy to move on with his life and now wants to travel around the world.

He suffered a collapsed lung in February after robbers opened fire on him in West Hollywood.

Lady Gaga was reported to have spent $70,000 on his hospital treatment, but two months into a tour around the US designed to help him get over his ordeal, he has claimed he is broke.

“At times I was scared. I was lonely. I felt abandoned and unsupported,” he told subscribers to his GoFundMe page.

“But those backroads that took me to desert campsites and Walmart parking lots and rest stops and friends and family to New York and back began to help me see why I had chosen to leave the security of the Hollywood Hills where I fought for my life and mobility.

“All that time spent reclaiming my body, I now needed to be equally devoted to strengthening my emotional and mental health.

“Having that understanding helped me frame what I need from the rest of this sabbatical: getting a van and exploring this country while seeking out communities that support the process of growing from trauma.”
