Stacey Solomon has wowed fans with her DIY skills and keen eye for interior design on a budget as she completely transformed her home’s kitchen for under £50
Stacey Solomon has proved once again that she’s the queen of DIY as she completely transformed her kitchen for under £50.
The Loose Women star, 31, took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off the incredible results of her rapid kitchen makeover after she decided it needed a spruce earlier this week.
The pregnant star documented the transformation with her fans and they were left stunned by the glamorous results.
Ever the bargain-hunter, Stacey hit up Amazon and used her DIY skills to transform the small room on a serious budget – and the finished space is something to behold.
Stacey got to work yesterday when she decided the only way to modernise the small space was to cover up the old-fashioned counter tops.
In a bid add her signature décor stamp on the kitchen, Stacey purchased some stick-on marble paper which did wonders to brighten up and modernise the sink area.
She also painted the cupboards underneath a striking dark blue colour which instantly made the room look like a photo from an interior design magazine.
The talented home-lover then made the decision to paint the actual kitchen sink white too in order to brighten up the room even further.
Finally, Stacey added another touch of glamour by placing gold handles on the cupboards and installing a corner-shelf above the sink so she could hang a plant from it.
In true Stacey style, the room wasn’t complete without some artificial plants and flowers which she placed strategically on the sink.
Unveiling her masterpiece on Instagram, the pregnant star admitted that the makeover has done the world of good – even though she transformed it on a tight budget.
After laying eyes on Stacey’s incredible transformation, fans flocked to Twitter to gush over the star’s talents.
“Stacey has inspired me to get my a** in gear and tidy up my home. It really doesn’t have to cost that much. She’s amazing at it,” one follower gushed.
“Stacey just always gets it so right when it comes to home transformations like that,” another agreed.
“I love the blue paint and the shelf. It really makes all the difference,” someone else penned.
Stacey and her fiancé Joe Swash have been busy renovating and redecorating their ‘forever home’ since they found their dream property earlier this year.
The lovebirds, who are expecting their second child together any day now, fell in love with Pickle Cottage the minute they laid eyes on it, and they have worked their magic to make it the most gorgeous and comfortable place they and their kids have ever lived.
