Torquator Tasso springs huge 80-1 shock in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe

The 100th edition of the Arc was won by German raider Torquator Tasso at Longchamp, Paris, on Sunday, from Tarnawa and Hurricane Lane. Full result and odds here

Torquator Tasso was a shock 80-1 winner of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp.

The German raider, trained by Marcel Weiss, swooped down the outside underRene Piechulek to cause a huge upset.

Adayar, sent clear by William Buick in the straight, was overtaken by Tarnawa and Hurricane Lane, only for the rank outsider to collar them both before the winning post.
